Our family-run farm with 3 apartments is located in a sunny and peaceful setting at 1400 meters, surrounded by meadows and forests, away from traffic. Relax in the middle of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage site.
In St. Martin in Thurn, as well as throughout Gadertal and the central area of the Dolomites, the Ladins are native, Rhaeto-Romanic people who speak the Ladin language. We are one of over 4,000 Ladin families who, in addition to our mother tongue, also speak Italian and German.
Our farm Col de Tlames is located on the border of the Puez Geisler Nature Park, an ideal starting point for mountain and hiking tours.
The Gadertal valley also offers countless activities and adventures, including climbing, Segway tours, a ride on Europe's largest zipline, and much more. Also worth a visit is the Ladin Museum Ciastel de Tor, preserving Ladin history and culture. Those seeking pure relaxation can unwind on our terrace, enjoying the beautiful view of the Dolomite mountain range. Meanwhile, children can have fun on the playground, interacting with our animals.
In the winter months, after a skiing session, you can enjoy your cozy apartment with a snow-covered landscape view.
Even though we are away from the winter hustle and bustle, you can reach the Kronplatz and Alta Badia/Sellaronda ski resorts in just 10 minutes by car. With over 100 kilometers of slopes and state-of-the-art lifts, the 2.275m high Kronplatz is the perfect destination for demanding skiers and snowboarders. For non-skiers, there are various options for enjoyable snowshoe hikes and sleigh rides.
The Gadertal valley is considered a paradise for motorcyclists.
The Sella Group with the most beautiful Dolomite passes is not far from our farm. Here, you'll find everything you need for an adventurous motorcycle holiday. We provide a garage, tools, and a washing facility for the maintenance of your motorcycle.
